As a manager it is of utmost importance to me to be alerted when the treatment of my patients in my clinic is not up to standard. The system allows me to be alerted even at home when any abnormalities have not been addressed or attended to. Having my personnel spend less time writing and recording information and more time physically attending to patients and being actively a part of the healing process is a game changer. The system allows for my nursing staff to actively advocate for the patient as they have access due to the transparency of the system. The system allows for an overview of all my patients from a bird eye view. Knowing my patients are receiving holistic care due to this system is leaving me with a sound mind at night.
IMC went live in our facility in April 2022. The aim was to ensure better time management for the health care staff to spend in the care plan with the patient instead of administrative duties that take them away from patient care.Even over this short period of time we proved the efficiency of the IMC program in Protea Memory Clinic. The Multidisciplinary team has complete access to effective and accurate records to help improve the quality of care provided for our patients. We are excited to take Protea Memory Clinic paperlessin the future with the IMC program.
